Tommy Kesecker and Pat Klobas met at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music during their musical studies. After completing school they headed in different directions. Tommy joined ‘Zakir Hussain and the Rhythm Experience’ and Pat headed into both classical and jazz work. They came together again performing at the Gualala Arts Festival with the ‘San Francisco Chamber Jazz Quartet’ with Tommy as guest artist. The inspiration from that outstanding concert lead to the formation of the Klobas/Kesecker Ensemble.
